this evening i spent some quality time with one of my roommates, emily. thank goodness for this cool(er) weather! we went for a walk around white rock lake and then grabbed dinner from whole foods. we were lucky to enjoy a full rainbow while eating dinner on their patio.
colors just fascinate me. somehow you can mix one pair of colors to make one beautiful color, but then use a different set of colors, and the result is just a plain brown.
this past year in my art class we had to create a color wheel. but i never stopped to think about the beginning of such a concept. maybe these pictures were the foundation of such an idea.
