happy news

i'm so happy to announce that after 1 year and 2 months of searching, I FOUND A JOB!
that's right, i will be a real working corporate woman starting next wednesday.

i get all jittery when i start to think about it!
i'll be an assistant marketing manager for the last call brand of neiman marcus.
when i told my mom, she did a happy dance. i joined along. we've got some good moves.

several times when i've told people about it, i've choked up (which, as you may know, happens rarely to me!)

i do have to say, i wouldn't be where i am today without the loving support of my friends and family.
i could sit here all day telling story after story of how close friends and complete strangers have taken time to help me in this search.

people are wonderful.

and i'm confident Lord has brought specific individuals in my life that gave me awesome advice, encouragement, and love.

i had countless days where i just felt swamped with sadness.
i've felt confused, dumb, nervous, and hopeless.
it is because of His faithfulness that i pushed through.
