i have a special treat to show you. for dad's day with my sorority, courtney king and i decided we would share our love for our dads through a music video inspired by justin beiber. what better way to say "i love you" than this.

cowboys and ranches

you could say my weekend had a theme to it - western (ok the part II of the weekend is a bit of a stretch).

part I was pi phi's big western event, howdy. it was absolutely flawless thanks to the hard work of stephanie barry.

while i'm not the biggest fan of country western dancing (how can i even call myself a texan??), the music was lively and watching the couples was entertaining. instead of partaking in the two-steppin', courtney king and i decided to relive our childhood and play tag as "cowboys and indians."

part II consisted of catching up with old friend's and meeting new ones at my sweet friend kenzie chesnut's lakehouse.

it was such a breath of fresh air (literally) as we enjoyed delicious food, good company, God's beautiful gift of nature, and games that make you laugh till it hurts.

seniors rule the world

dodgeball tournament was a success! i entered the tournament with a unibrow and left with a sore arm (and second place).

saturday night i finally made my appearance at waco's annual margarita and salsa festival. while i'm not the biggest fan of country music (i maybe have 5 country songs on my ipod), i did enjoy seeing randy rogers and the eli young band so close to the stage!
