goodbye fall semester!

i really don't like goodbyes. today was my last day of my internship and my last day of classes. sometimes i wish i could just press pause and stay where i am. but that wouldn't be too interesting, would it.

so now begins the start of my studying for finals. if you need me, i'll be here until next tuesday.

james 1:12

p.s. want a glimpse into some stuff i did at my internship this past semester? click here and never say waco, tx is boring again.

desk envy

lately my room has been looking like my closet had a bad case of food poisoning (aka my room is a disastrous, unclean mess)! i can't help but feel jealous of the tranquility this person must have with a desk as neat as it is.

pretty pretty pencils

it's time to get crafty and spruce up my pens and pencils with this little idea from free people. after all, it would make note-taking in class far more interesting.

"but may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation always say, 'let God be exalted!'"

planner essentials

i love back to school shopping. and i really love picking out my planner. now picking out a planner is no simple task. it requires careful selection because this thing will stick with me through the entire school year.

what makes a good planner you ask?
1. space space space. i need lots of room for penciling in all my many activities (haha, that is a joke. more like space for doodling)
2. simplicity. in the layout and design. clutter and obnoxious fonts = disorganized life.
3. happy cover. i hate studying, so if the cover makes me happy, i might enjoy studying. might.

check out this cool planner. for those of you (like me) who LOVE making lists, this will make your heart happy. every page has some little list for you to fill out (ie list the places you have lived, top three favorite appetizers, or names you want to name your children). try paying attention in class with that distraction!

"dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another."
1 john 4:11

(forget buying a planner, mike custom made his)
