happy friday! there's something spectacular about the weekend. especially when the weather outside is simply b-e-a-utiful.
have you ever eaten at a food truck? this past spring break my friends and i drove all around san diego in search of one. we found the spot, walked right up to the truck, but got too nervous and walked away! (i envisioned a very painful night of food poisoning) so ever since that incident, i have been trying to muster up the courage to jump on this fad and try a tasty bite.

tomorrow i'm so excited about something that's happening right in my neighborhood. there's this fab little gas station-turned-eco-friendly convenience store called green spot. they serve a plethora of organic and local treats. every saturday they have a mini farmer's market selling lots of local goodies. this saturday, three food trucks will plant themselves in the parking lot from 8am - 1pm. AND there will be animal adoption selling cute little furry animals. puppies and good food...what more could a girl ask for?
