oh sweet denver

hey-o. last weekend i made my first official trip to visit college friends (roomies to be exact). they sure do have the life over there in colorado. not only do they have actual seasons with crisp weather and trees that turn magnificent shades of red, yellow, and orange, but they have the best scenery. you can stand anywhere in the city and have the best view of snow-capped mountains.

although the altitude made me feel like i got punched in the stomach, i still loved my time with the be sties.

fall break in colorado

i spent this past weekend in colorado with three of my closest friends at baylor. we were privileged to stay with kylie's sweet and welcoming family at their home in denver.

so here's my weekend in one sentence: despite the shortness of breath accompanying every physical activity i participated in, the weather was beautiful, the food was in abundance, the fellowship was genuine and the sweet victory for baylor was exhilarating.

wishful thinking

weekend has a whole new meaning for me.

why? because ever since i have become a working woman, i have no time for anything else.

my hair is 6 inches too long,

my eyebrows are going back to their rectangular form,

my car window is permanently rolled down,

i am turning into snow white,

and as of today, i no longer have any more clean laundry.

man oh man how i wish i could just pick a spot and go.
